BECU Membership Eligibility

If you live, work, or go to school in Washington state, you're eligible for BECU membership.

Individuals in select counties of Oregon, Idaho, South Carolina or with affiliation to BECU partners like Boeing, may also be eligible. For more information on specific eligible states, counties, affiliations, and partnerships, visit the membership eligibility page.

Apply For BECU Membership

Setting up credit union membership is an easy two-step process.1

Step 1: Gather Identification Documents

  • Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.
  • Valid U.S. government-issued ID such as a driver's license or state-issued ID.
  • Contact information, such as a street address and phone number. You may be asked to validate your address with documents such as a utility bill.
